Meeting Minutes August 15, 2015

EAA Chapter 1167

Old Business:

• Fall Fly-in date moved to Sept 26^th with Sept 27^th as a rain date. We'll meet and serve out at the T-Hangers.

• This year we'll serve a Low-Country Boil rather than BBQ.

• We'll be updating the mailers, which should be no cost this year with the credit from Vista-Print. Carl will personally invite the folks at PIA to join us.

• Bob Stahlberger generously donated his Shop Smith to the Chapter. Plans to pick up the machinery on the 22^nd.

• Again discussed the Thunder Gull project. Nothing definitized for next steps.

• The Ford Tri-Motor folks responded that they are fully booked for the season. We voted to add our name to the fill-in list. If one of the stops in the area fall through we'll get the call to pick up the airplane again.

New Business:

• Discussed getting a table set up at Coastal Carolina during move-in day to let the students know about the EAA and our Chapter.

• Our September meeting will be held in the T-Hanger where Ron will demonstrate the molding box he fabricated for his shop.
